Colour!
These are the projects I've been working on today (yarn only, the actual knitting is secret).
It's left me craving neon bright sock yarn!

Van Gogh Update - 1 down, 7 to go...
I've finished my first pair of Van Gogh socks:
I wanted to get all eight pairs done by the end of the year.
This does not look very likely based on one pair = eight months.
The next ball is wound and ready to go though! (yes, it comes like that, but I feel more productive if I pretend I had some input)

Conina
My Conina Socks are now available:
As a single pattern here:
Or as part of the eBook which gets a new pattern added at the start of every month until it's complete in February.
These are probably my favourite socks ever, they mirror each other and have a winding lace panel on the front and a lace and twisted stitch pattern on the back.
It doesn't hurt that they are YELLOW (my favourite colour), you can get the yarn (and many other lovely things) here.
Lately I've been taking photos of my socks in shoes and I quite like these loafers my sister was wearing when I strong-armed her in to modelling for me.

Ravellenics and a mystery
Phew, I think I got sucked in to a black hole and missed the whole of July!
I've been working so hard and I got married - this combination means I didn't blog (sorry) but I'm going to do better, I promise, and a hiatus means I've got a lot to say (and show!)
We're just over half way through the Olympics; behold my Ravellenic Socks:
Ten minutes before the opening ceremony:
One minute before the opening ceremony:
A weeks worth of progress:
I haven't worked on them as much as I would like but I have been glued to the coverage, the BBC have outdone themselves. There have been many moments where it has been far too exciting to knit, I naively thought I'd get loads of work done while watching - not so much!
I've designed a mystery sock for the Solid Socks group this month - Punica. The second clue will be released tomorrow, it's not too late to join in and I'd love to see your progress in the Coop Knits group too!
