Ravellenics and a mystery

Phew, I think I got sucked in to a black hole and missed the whole of July!

I've been working so hard and I got married - this combination means I didn't blog (sorry) but I'm going to do better, I promise, and a hiatus means I've got a lot to say (and show!)

We're just over half way through the Olympics; behold my Ravellenic Socks:

A weeks worth of progress:

I haven't worked on them as much as I would like but I have been glued to the coverage, the BBC have outdone themselves. There have been many moments where it has been far too exciting to knit, I naively thought I'd get loads of work done while watching - not so much!

I've designed a mystery sock for the Solid Socks group this month - Punica. The second clue will be released tomorrow, it's not too late to join in and I'd love to see your progress in the Coop Knits group too!

  1. Ho'omaka'i Coop on your recent nuptials! What a big life event. No need to apologize.
Very cool socks and great patriotism.

  2. Many congratulations on your wedding! Did you wear the dress you discussed at knit night in the end? Any knitty/ shrugs shawls!?
Loving your sock patterns ATM you are BRILLANT!
