In my future there is a spinning wheel.

I've begun to knit with my hand-spun yarn and I'm in trouble.

I love knitting with it so much, I need more. I can't spin fast enough on my spindle. I need a spinning wheel.

The pattern is Trillian and it's one of those patterns where with a bit of maths (and a leap of faith) you can use every last bit of the yarn, I'm happy about this - I don't want to waste any of it.

I have to ration the time I spend on it because I have deadlines not looming but gently waving at me from the bottom of the garden. One more picture of the prettiness:

Also, I'm pretty sure I've lost one of my Van Gogh socks, I'm not that upset yet because I'm not 100% sure but I'm about 93% sure so fair warning there might be desolation on the horizon.

  3. Lovely scarf! What is that fiber you have used? Nice colour combination :)
And about wheels... I am already anxiously waiting my new wheel to arrive, and I do know how one can miss it... No chance I'd spin with spindle as much I know I want to spin with wheel. But waiting seems to be sooooooo looooooong...
